the 11.2 is really cool. I have used kubuntu for a while, on two machines, but it messed up every time. A friend of mine uses Ubuntu which worked fine for a long time, but eats up more and more ram during the last month. Since his ram is only 512M, and I think he doesn't have a swap partition, the processor keeps managing memory instead of processing other stuff - this sucks totally. I think I'll gonna get him a 1Gig module.
Another friend of mine uses mint and is quite content. Seems to run a little slower than my Suse, but at least it doesn't mess up the way Ubuntu did.
If you ask me, Suse is great due to the great community, the great yast2 tool, and the way its organized. The only other distro I've seen so far that did organisation better was Fedora. Which would be my second candidate.
If you are really hardcore and want to suffer a lot, use arch linux
