You could probably do that with vacuum forming if you make a mold of said part to use. Mold plastic to it, harden with fiberglass or something. It would be a lot cheaper than those printers. But it would also be less expensive than my CNC, which I only have to make gears and stuff for my little mechanical shit I pretend to be able to do. Because those sheets are expensive and it takes a ridiculous amount of power to run. And the bit breaks all the time.
