Adding attributes to Abilities

Trigger:
  • Finger of Death
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Finger of Death (Necromancer) 40lvls
      • Actions
        • Set FingerofDeath_Damage = ((Real((Intelligence of (Casting unit) (Include bonuses)))) x 2.00)
        • Set SpecialEffectTargets[5] = (Target unit of ability being cast)
        • Unit - Cause (Casting unit) to damage SpecialEffectTargets[5], dealing PowerShot_Damage damage of attack type Spells and damage type Divine


Why doesnt this work..? Im trying to make it so that x2 intelligence is given as a damage to that unit. I have a whole bunch this one happens to be for target 5

Try, Unit - starts the effect of a spell, change casting unit to triggering unit. And your damage variable in the function part doesn't match up with the set variable you have for setting the damage.
