These incredible images are the closest ever recorded of a previously uncontacted Indian tribe in the remote forests of Peru.

Taken in Manú National Park, south-eastern Peru, these detailed images show the daily life of a family from the Mashco-Piro tribe.

The Mashco-Piro are known to inhabit the park, but sightings of them have increased in recent months.

I thought they meant a lost tribe of Israel and I was like, "all hell is about to break loose."

I only saw "one of the Last Uncontacted Tribes" and thought that and then read the whole thing.

Didn't the lost tribe of Israel die out in North America?

Well... nobodies really sure. They assimilated at some point. Most people do not know from what tribe they descend (so they identify as "yisraeli") and those who are levis also know.

I wonder what the status of this tribe yet? Have they been wiped out, assimilated or still uncontacted?
