Buying Abilities

Hi I was wondering if someone could recommend a tutorial for me for buying abilities.

ummm... there is a couple of ways of doing it. like, the CHLW way, the GoH, or the CHA way?

Can't you just make them items, and when a hero buys that item, add the corresponding skill to him?

You can't actually buy spells or abilities.

But, you can do this.

    Actions
        If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
            If - Conditions
                (Unit-type of (Buying unit)) Equal to Footman
            Then - Actions
                If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
                    If - Conditions
                        (Item-type of (Sold Item)) Equal to Tome of Experience
                    Then - Actions
                        Unit - Add Acid Bomb to (Triggering unit)
                    Else - Actions
            Else - Actions
