Changes to the Editor not being saved

Hi.

I want to change the appearance of the editor (such as font size and background color), but none of the changes I make takes effect.
I even tried restarting the editor, and that didn't work either.

Any ideas how to fix this?

It would seem the text and the appearance of the editor is the same with all other windows. If you must change, go to Display and change the settings there. (XP)

In Windows 7, you go to Personalization.
