Changing a races starting units

Is there a way to customize what a units starting units are? (So that instead of starting with 5 workers, i could change it to lets say... 5 whatever, or make it only 1 unit)

Yes, use the object editor. :p

Just edit the properties of the peasant/peon/wisp/acolytes. You can use the object editor to change their models, what buildings they can make, their stats, pretty much anything. :)

why u dont just trigger that??

If you want to edit the starting units, goto the trigger editor and edit the "Map initialisation" trigger. Remove the default create units line and add whatever units you want.
