my map is very laggy, but when I set the model detail and animation quality to low, it works smoothly... So I was wondering if this could be done in triggers so that people don't have to change their setting just to play my game
If it is models that cause this lag, custom models imported? Change the custom models to a standard model, see if that works better for you, if it does, reduce number of polygons on the model.
Got a lot of units? Remember if you kill a unit, its still in the game for another 80-90 seconds, unless you have changed it under Gameplay Constants > Decay...
Else; care to upload the map for others to test the lag you are experiencing?
I'm sorry I didn't realize you had to open the map for this. I've altered the UI so that it can't be opened by anybody else. The unprotected part means not optimized, it is still protected from my modifications. EGUI allows some functions of JASS to be converted into GUI, I use NewGen
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory

I just got to watch the video because even though I was there I was trying to work out tech problems with the chat since I was the social media guy so I was distracted but check it out guys the video is super fucking great!
