Changing the Mana Shield color

I'm looking for a model of a mana shield to have a different color, I want it to be red. Can anyone help me?

Make a unit whose model is Mana Shield, then set the tinting so you've got:
Red 225
Green 0
Blue 0


Then, when Mana Shield is cast, attach this unit to the chest of the casting unit.
And, when Mana Shiels is deactivated, remove it.

EDIT: Never mind. It doesn't seem to change colour.

Alternatively, just edit the model of Mana Shield and make it red. It should be too difficult.

If you're not too picky, you could use the buff effect for Big Bad Voodoo, it's red...

The effect have some lines around the effect... it'll just look weird if it's on a ship.

I did ManaShieldCasterRed.mdx, saved the map and restarted WE but it isn't showing up.

Nevermind, it works, but can you make it more a bit dark and more red?

There isnt really any need to set it to any specific path, you can even leave it in the "war3imported.../ManaShield....mdx". But, just to keep things organized, I usually set it to "Effect/ManaShield....mdx", just so you can keep everything organized.

EDIT: Cool, you got it to work, and sure, ill make it go from red to dark red back to red.
