I'm thinking of buying me a new laptop. But I don't know much about computers. Neither do I know what to look for other than RAM and Processors(Ghz).

Anyway, I found one and I'm thinking of buying it. Couldn't find the specs in English so I translated it from Swedish through a translator.

Is it worth it? I'm not using the computer for anything specific other than gaming. Just an ordinary computer that's able to handle ordinary tasks.

If you're going to use the laptop for gaming, might I suggest getting one with a better graphics card? Look for ones which have ATI or NVidia written on the graphics part of the specs. Intel graphics just kinda sucks for gaming IMO. :D

Also why a Celeron? Get a better proc. Intel has a lot of mobile processors better than the Celeron, which are already dual core. Find one with a mobile Core2Duo solution. :D

Other than that, the RAM and HDD looks good, unless you'd need more memory (if running a lot of applications at the same time) or space (if you're going to store a lot of files and apps)

Hope this helps! :)

EDIT: The Dell Inspiron 15 is better, and cheaper by $21 (at least, it says so on Dell's page for it.)

It has an Intel Core i3 to boot, 4GB DDR2 1066MHz RAM, 500GB HDD, and a 512MB ATI Radeon HD4330.

Of course, not that I'm advertising Dell or anything. :p

link

search for VPCEB190X and then use OUTLETVAIO30 for 30% off

price comes out to under 700 with an i5, 5470 and blu-ray player
