Maybe you can add then, instead of teaching hexadecimal , a mention saying that you can simply use paint to find out the RGB values of any colour?

It seems people are +repping you for something very simple
In the future I might only use this for player colours... Not to be negative though.

i used some software i found in useful not a while i picked some color and it gave me some wierd color hexadecimal value i tried using it in my map and nothing happens so i stopped working with thse softwares anyway....

Wow thats extremely kind of you, only 1 thing, you reject songs that are rasict or something like that right? few^^ hope thats good to hear...

Warcraft uses transparent values too. Maybe you forgot to add the transparency code in front of the colour code? (E.g FF+[colour code])

Added the hexadecimal conversion and % RGB values for colours, as well as a few links to programs and to useful sites/colour charts.

Chaos spectrum is very, very nice... Congrats on the choice.
As for the tut - it is too small for me to call it sufficient, no more than half an hour work or so.
I have an idea there. Why don't you call it Color design or something like that, and make the thing about color codes and technical stuff only a complementary/introductory part to the tut. Then mainly talk how to make a map beatiful, pretty, understandable, intuitive, etc. using colors. That would be something new, now you are just repeating some wee bit too well known stuff.
I might even make such a tut, if I'm not too lazy. But I'm not that good at art/aesthetic stuff.
I'm guessing this is becoming a rep-making factory of some sort.
