Competitive Maze (Name in Progress)

My new project. I hope i am the first to step into this new genre, it will (hopefully) add a whole new twist to mazes, But i need ideas, ideas and more ideas to make it successful. Anybody who comes up with an idea i use or partly use i will ask for their Bnet name, and they will be able to choose from one of the extra avatars. I am also willing for anybody to help me with this map in anyway possible.
Story:
After the fight between Illidan and Arthas in the Icecrown, The city where Sylvanas just owned crumbled.
And all livings finally take part with Sylvanas to destroy Arthas.
With the promise, they all go to the Icecrown and find out that Arthas' base was full of maze.
Without falling back, they all go and said:

Arthas, must fall!

Levels 1 - so far

What i have so far:
A successful multiboard
A Dialog at the beginning to pick from one of the 11 avatars.
An area for helpers where they can choose their avatars from probably over 70 at any time, for one level they could be a footman, the next a demolisher.
A dialog when your team has died, you can choose to revive where you died, or at the last checkpoint.

Suggestions:

Perhaps... offensive spells?
E.G. Push
Pushes the target enemy unit by 100 offset.

Defensive Spells?
E.G. Jump
Jumps over a unit or terrain to the other side.

cool guys i like ur story what is your bnet name? and you pawnable your idea's are very useful.

Ideas:

1.) Coloring your avatar (13,600,000 different colors)
2.) Different sizes for your avatars
3.) Modes that give different amount of lifes and varies the difficulty of the mazes.
4.) A Penguin avatar (Best avatar eva!!?12/2/1/2/?!!)
