Hello, i'm trying to remove a .mkv file from my harddriver and when i do it popups the usual confirm message about "are you sure you want to remove this file from your computer..." and when i press yes, it starts working and then.. pop! the cpu usage on all my cores goes up to 100% and everything gets laggy until i close explorer.exe and restart it.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

I'm sitting on a
os: windows 7 64x proffesional
hdd: Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB SATA2
and a Intel Core™2 Quad Q9450 2.66GHz Socket

the file i'm trying to removei s a .mkv file in flac ´400mb big.

Are you trying to delete the file through explorer.exe itself, or through flac?

Ok, have you run any virus scans recently, as explorer.exe is a process that is often targeted by various malware. Also, which virus protections are you using?
