Few basic editor problems

i have some problems with map creating:

1 - how can i raise the level cap of heroes? how about food limit?

2 - i want to combine spells effects, such as fork lightning that cause cyclon for example, can i somehow copy the "data" section from one ability to another?

3 - what does the "buffs" mean?

4 - how can i add things like "stun" to spells?

will appreciate any help

1: Go to gameplay constants and find the hero tab area.

2: You have to trigger it

3: A buff is something that leaves a status on the unit's portrait area.

4: Modify it in the object editor or trigger it.

thanks for the level limit thing

my problem is that i have no idea about anything in the editor, so how do i triger and what will it do?

also, another question

if I creat a campeign, and i want the hero to be limited to a certain level' how do i do that?
and how can i transfer the same hero to the next senario?

If you mean all heros to have a max level just edit in gameplay constance but if it's one hero do something in trigger editor like

• Events
  • a unit gains a level
  • Condtions (for multiple hero's use the or/any function)
  • unit type of triggering unit equal to "your hero"
  • Actions:
  • If then else multiple functions
  • Condtions
  • Level of triggering unit equal to "your max level"
  • Actions
  • Turn of experience gain for triggering unit

Note it's hand written

and for bringing a hero or anything to another map (must be a campaign use the campaign editor for it) you have to use game cache you could probably find a tutorial somewhere on this site for game cache just type it into search you'll probably find something.
