I used to be able to talk on Teamspeak fine, but now that I've fitted a new motherboard I can't.. All the sounds of my pc are sent to the people on TS. E.g If im playing a game they will be able to hear the spells, background music etc.

Someon on TS said I have an open-mic. My bro told me that I needed to configure my 'Mic In connector'. So I opened my motherboards sound effect control panel, and set the Mic In connector to a microphone (It was set to 'Stereo Input' previously)

Any ideas?

Thanks for all help.

Go to the Sounds and Audio Devices in the Control Panel.
In the Device Volume section, click the Advanced button.

Go to the top menu, and go Options>Properties and then make sure Recording is checked, and click ok. It should bring up a new Sound "Manager".

Select "Microphone" instead of "What-U-Hear" (I'm assuming that's the one checked).

That should do it. :)
I don't think you need to do anything in your motherboard sound config as this should work just fine.
