Icon wont show

I use the item ability bonus damage as a hero skill.
However when the hero learn it, the effect is there but the icon didn't show.
How???

Some item abilities have no icons when transfered to Hero abilities. You can make a Dummy Passive Spell and add the bonus damage via triggers.

also you should keep in mind that some item abilities cannot be leveled at all. increasing their level will give no further benefits.
