I want a unit to have the shield active but without the spell effect appearing.
Is there a way to hide the mana shield graphic?

Then just modify the Mana Shield buff, or create a custom buff and replace it.

You can change this now in User CP.

It's on "Art - Target" just remove it from the window that appears when you double click it.
