Make 2 abilities share cooldown?

Is there any way without triggering the shit to make 2 abilities share cooldown?

Try to base them off the same spell or make the spells have the same spell ID (spell ID hasnt worked for me before though)

Basing them of the same spell dosnt make them share cooldown.
If its an item ability try putting both the abilities into the same ability cooldown group, otherwise i guess you will have to trigger it.

Maybe Channel will do the job for you?

Basing both spells of the same ability will cause them both to trigger at the same time. This means they share their casting not their cooldowns...which is not what OP asked for. Channel would get the same effect.

I think the only way is to trigger it...

How would one trigger something like this without activating both spells?
Maybe if the spells were trigger enhanced w/ no target, then you could turn off the trigger before the spell gets activated and turn it back on when it does.

This works, make sure that the
Text - Order String - Use/Turn On
Is the same thing.
