No sound from my speakers! Help!

Hi, i get no sound from my speakers.

This is what i have done:
1. Checked the sound settings.
2. updated the drivers.
I don't know why this is happening, the sound worked just fine before i reinstalled windows.

I have Windows XP mediacenter edition.
