Ive beenworking on a map and I would like any ideas/suggestions that people can come up with.
It's an Arena style map with twelve players and every so often there are neutral hostile units that run in to attack everyone
And now for the part that makes it different: Every Hero has mana degeneration (like the obsidian statue) and there is a special Power Rune that spawns every so ften that gives full mana. When you get mana you can now use your special Power Moves which are basically really really good and can give you a huge edge in battle.
Each hero has three normal moves which cost no mana and can be leveled up to become a little more powerful and three power moves which cannot be leveled but you gain a new one as you progress in levels. the power moves are basically a spell book that you level up and which each upgrade it gives you a new power move.
So thats the idea and ive made a few heroes and some spells so i just wanted some feedback and any spell/gameplay suggestions.
The Heroes Ive made so far Are:
Phoenix Knight: (Strength)
Regular Moves: (need three more)
Power Moves:
Sun Flare: Calls down a flare from the sun to damage an enemy unit for 300 damage
Phoenix Drop: Heals a target unit for 700 health
Phoenix: (This is channeling) Summons a mighty phoenix to attack your enemies for 5 seconds. the Phoenix's attacks deal damage and then burn the targeted units
Sorceress: (intelligence)
Regular moves: (need one more)
Firebolt: hurls abolt of fire at an enemy unit dealing 100/175/250 damage and stunning the unit for 2 seconds
Polymorph: morphs unit into a sheep for 5/6/7 seconds
Power Moves:
Wheel of Fire: Creates a wheel of fire at a target point which burns teh ground around it for 50 damage per second
Arcane Energy: The sorceress becomes the nucleus of an energy field. Orbs of energy swirl around the sorceress causing 100 damage to any unit they come into contact with
Lightning Strike: Calls down bolts of lightning to hit all enemy units within a radius of the sorceress dealing 500 damage to each unit
Mountain Giant (strength)
Regular Moves:
Hurl boulder: hurls a boulder at an eney unit dealing 100/175/250 damage and stunning for 2 seconds
Seismic Wave: send a trail of seismic energy to a point where it explodes dealing 300 damage to all nearby units. Units caught in the trail recieve 75 damage
Seismic Shock: Creates seismic shock at the position of teh Mountain giant causing 100/150/200 damage and disorienting all units caught in in the radius by reducing attack speed and move speed by 50%
Power Moves: (need one more)
Strength of the Mountains: Gives the Mountain Giant 1500 bonus health, 20 bonus armor, 100 bonus attack damage, and spell immunity
Epicenter: The Mountain Giant becomes the epicenter of an earthquake, dealing 50 damage per second to all enemy units within a huge radius for 20 seconds
Bone Collector: (agility)
Regular Moves: (need three more)
Power Moves:
Bloody Rage: Sends the Bone Collector into a bloody rage increasing attack and move speed by 300%
Jungle Fever: Increases the attaxk damage of all nerby allied units by 60%
Head Hunt: The Bone Collector becomes invisible to hunt for his enemies. Upon attacking he will deal 500 damage to an enemy unit. (no movespeed bonus)
Axemaster: (strength)
Regular moves: (three more needed)
Power Moves: (one more needed)
Double Team: The Axemaster sacrifices half of his remaining health to generate and exact copy of himself capable of giving and recieveing full damage, but cannot use abilities
Rend: Delivers a decisive blow to the enemy which causes it to bleed out at 25 damage per second for 10 seconds and renders it unable to use abilities as well as decreasing attack damage by 50%
So thats all I have so far for heroes if anyone has any ability ideas its much appreciated, or even hero ideas. Heres a list of a few undeveloped heroes and their primary attributes:
Undead Mage: Intelligence
Ancient Warrior: Strength
Vampire Lord: Strength/Intelligence
Spectre: Intelligence/Agility
Jailor: Agility/Strength
Druid: Intelligence
