I've read in some thread that TriggerEvaluate doesn't desync, despite the fact that it starts a new thread. But I can't cite it, and thus it can be disputed.

I've myself read many things about jass users which was totally wrong.
The last one which was that TriggerEvaluate didn't open a new thread.
You're probably right here though, but i won't assume it's true without testing it myself (can't test it now) or yourself.
Well, all you need to do is import PrintOrder, Ascii, and type -printoff in-game and see if it disconnects. Oh, and you need to compile it all in debug mode.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
