Question about 1.24

If I have my Warcraft with patch 1.21 ( Garena in our country doesnt work with 1.22 or older ), will my World Editor with 1.24 work with my Warcraft ( I'll copy from my classmate )?

yup, as long as you do the right procedure to upgrade your warcraft 3 to 1.24, then your world editor will auto upgrate to 1.24.

last time i upgrade my warcraft 3 from 1.8 to until now, all follow the right procedure, can open world editor.

what to mean by wrong procedure? you are using 1.22 warcraft 3 and copy 1.23 warcraft file to replace it then of course you can play it as warcraft 3 1.23 but it wont allow you to open WE.

Unless you copy everything thing, provided that file you copied is also patch in right way. just like i have patched my warcraft 3 fully, and my friend copy whole of my warcraft 3 to play, he can also open WE

if you are not sure and don't want to take the risk, copy your whole warcraft 3 on another file/place/drive as backup warcraft 3.
