Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies
Made from scratch delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies like grandma used to make - but you are making them.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Large bowl for mixing
- Small bowl for mixing
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Stir in the vanilla
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl then gradually add to the mixture
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned
- Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely
