Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Pie

This recipe makes a Giant Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Pie that truly brings forth the fusion of chocolate and peanut butter flavors.

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Filling:
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
For the Topping:
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, chopped for garnish
  • Large bowl
  • 9-inch pie pan
Directions:
  • Mix crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • In the large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth
  • Fold in the whipped topping
  • Spread the filling over the crust and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
  • For the topping, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer, then pour over the chocolate chips
  • Let sit for 5 minutes then stir until smooth
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the pie and spread evenly
  • Garnish with chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
  • Chill for an additional hour before serving
