I want to make a hero who dies revive after 2 seconds (thats just for test reasons), return to the owners starts location and not lose any experience.
Trigger:
  • Hero Revive
    • Events
      • Unit - Any Unit dies
    • Local Variables
      • SL = (Start location of player (Owner of (Triggering unit))) <Point>
    • Conditions
      • ((Unit type of (Triggering unit)) is Hero) == true
    • Actions
      • UI - Display "Die" for (All players) to Subtitle area
      • General - Wait 2.0 Game Time seconds
      • UI - Display "Revive" for (All players) to Subtitle area
      • Unit - Revive (Triggering unit)
      • Unit - Set (Triggering unit) Life (Percent) to 100.0
      • Unit - Move (Triggering unit) instantly to SL (No Blend)
This is what I got right now, and it does not work - only the text displays.

I'm not sure why revive unit doesn't work. You probably need to make it revivable somehow.
You can use behaviour of type buff. In the modification field under the combat tab look for
Death Response. Set it to 1 and then make it so the unit is revived.
In the trigger editor you just need to detect the effect that makes the unit revive and move it
to the start position.

Check out how blizzard did it in The Belly of the Beast mission, i.e. check Raynor (Sniper)
Incapacitated behavior.

I used that behavior yes (Prevent Hero Death), and then I checked for non-fatal or fatal damage and if the had the Incapicated behavior they would get moved. But thank you anyway.

I used this tutorial btw, to anyone with the same problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLXFooMvDvA
