I am fucking tired of the notion that Military service somehow carries with it an elevated sense of Patriotism.
The fact is, I never asked you to join the military, nor should I act with a sense of appreciation for your service.
I never asked Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins either. That is if one actually believes in such nonsense.
American security can just as easily be realized through domestic and domestic military operations.
And it can done without pointlessly killing innocent civilians.
It is people like you who carry out a flawed idealogy, pressing American values through force over the last 30 years, that has led America to where it is today.
You traded the handshake for the fist.
I believe the greatest gift to our country and society in general, is the pursuit of technology.
Something Bush bang'in, Palin supporting Republicans wouldn' know anything about.
Instead of building solar facilities and hydrogen vehicles, you'd rather build body kevlar and Bradley fighting vehicles.
You have no concept of the endgame when it comes to the enviroment, the world energy economy, or Muslim relations in general.
Republicans may harbor patriotism, but mutual respect sailed long ago.
I respect what other people do for a living but I certainly do not have to support it.
So maybe you should discard your anarchist, socialist, communist presumptions about people before you open your mouth.
