Well, for me, the !s didn't wrap, they just stretched the site. I made it skip a few lines so that it'd wrap and keep to the site's original dimensions :p

My thoughts:

I last left on a chapter 9.

It was very interesting but had it's problems.

I made it to page 2 on chapter 10.

Alex, i've got one thing to say...

you've got something here, and it has a good potential but,

My goal is to have the entire book written by June. Then I look for a publisher. Then I start on Re-Birth :)

I'm against releasing the chapters out in open public, mainly because I don't have copyright anything on it, aside from the files which I e-mailed myself...

I'm more likely to e-mail the story to someone... Or I might upload it at GH.com, but slowly and maybe only parts of chapters at a time.

This is an old old OLD thread, Em :D It started in the now-defunct SM forum and before, I had chapters 1-13 up for upload.

Considering that this forum is public to all, and I have no copyright, I don't think I ought to upload it for anyone to dl who comes by, do you? :p

When I went to Washington D.C. for the ISP (International Society of Poets, the cult of poetry.com) convention, I read a revised version of My Brothers for the judges. I didn't win anything, but a few people came up to me and said they had been impressed and a few even admitted to getting teary eyed at it :D

Most of my poetry will be depressing and/or sad, mainly due to the reason why I write poetry. I write poetry when I'm upset, mad, etc. etc. Basically, any negative feeling. I write poetry to get that out and onto paper.

I write my stories basically when I'm hyper because of too many ideas in my head.

I'm an odd individual... Anyway, thanks for the comment :) Glad you enjoyed 'em. If I post more of them on GH.com, I'll remember to come back here and link ya'll.

stay away from all the cliches that you can. The romance book cliches of falling into the others eyes, and and swept off their feet with a kiss. Though, if it's a good one, the room will go all spiny (know from personal experience). Two hearts won't suddenly be beating in unison. That's all I can think of, I don't write love stories.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
