Speaker Problem

Hey guys so I have a dv5-1002nr laptop from HP and now for some reason the left speaker will cut out from time to time. I can get it to come back if I up the volume to 100% and then bring it back down to the volume I want but that gets annoying. Btw, that solution only works for a little while. After a few minutes the volume of the speaker will either go way down or cut off completely. Even if I open audacity and play a song strictly to the left speaker it will cut out eventually. So is this a faulty wiring problem or a driver issue? Any ideas?

ok cool, thats what i was thinking but wasnt entirely sure. guess its time to take it back to the store and make them get it repaired while im still under warranty haha. thanks.
