Spell targeting issues

im trying to get the spell spirit link to target ancients so i set targets allows to ancients and set my certain unit targeted as ancient but it does do anything it doesn't even say cannot target just nothingness :S

I've tried that spell (doesn't change target-allow because it doesn't show that cannot target ancient)
I give "ancients" to orc raider.

Everything work well --" I can targeted ancient directly too.
Check your unit regen and damage taken (Only 0.50/number of unit is taken which is very small)

May I have the name of that ancient unit please (In case it is melee-map unit)

I just made a custom unit based off the captain gave him targeted as ancient.
