Well first, Hello
Anyways
I have been interested in making Wc3 maps for a while now, but whenever i touch the world editor i get Caught up in the details and in the end i can't really make an progress.
So i browsed for some tips and well yea
I have this idea and i want to share so i can expand it.

Sylvanas' Demise Inspired by Kerrigan's demise ~~ sorta

The game takes place in The lordaeron Region of azeroth
Time~~ Between End TFT and WoW.
There will be about 6-7 Races (Scarlet, Forsaken, Syndicate,Kirin tor and Dwarves, Amani trolls, Blood elves, Gilneas, Scourge and mabye the Kul tiras.
I want to give each race Unique Aspects and Quest/Events to add some accent.

Forsaken
The forsaken Are a band of outcast undead residing in the ruins of lordaeron.
The Syndicate are still allies of the forsaken but once the charm set on there leader is broken, that will be a thing of the past.
The ogres of Alterac have betrayed the Queen
The royal Apothecary Society Is looking for a new plague to Devastate the remaining humans.(i want to create a Alchemist unit that can harvest info per region)
Kirin tor and Dwarves
Dalaran is in ruins so you need to Repair it, after it is done it will be able to hover. The dwarves Can call for reinforcements from the khaz modan.
The humans will Have a Savior type hero from the Trollbane Dynasty that needs to reunite the human Bands (syndicate, gilneas and mabye kul tiras)
Amani Trolls
The trolls have not forgotten the day they lost to the high Elves. They still have not fully recovered from the defeat, but seeing that the scourge has deeply wounded the elven powers they seek revenge.
I want to add some kind of zul guruby Animal aspect units for the trolls, and of course the infamous troll regeneration will play a large roll in this race.
Syndicate/Gilneas/kul tiras
The human groups are hostile to eachother but they will be reunified.
Syndicate - specialise in rogue like units ( neeeed ideas )
Gilneas - a penninsula South of silverpine forest not much known about this area( but some creativity goes a long way)
Kul tiras - Controls some islands south of hillsbrad, Menethil harbour and Theramore island. Mainly uses boats
Scourge
The big bad scourge, they are the most powerfull faction in the game but since they are in the faces of most other factions they will also be encountering the most battles. Scholomance and naxxramas will be the main cities. The undead Specialise in.... Death so they will have large abominations,and Treacherous Necromancery. i also want them to be able to call for aid from northrend.
Blood elves
Blood elves... well since they are the Blood elves i don't really want to add anything to them, since they will be the all time favourite. but i do want them to be able to ally The forsaken somehow since the Blood elves will be the hardest to play.
Scarlet Crusade
Balnazzar A.K.A. Grand Crusader Saiden Dathrohan Now leads the scarlet Crusade. Furious about the Betrayal of his Brother Varimathras and the Scourge, he seeks revenge at any cost. The first thing you need to do as the scarlet is to Escort Balnazzar out of stratholme so you can take over Statholme later after Balnazzar fully utilises his manipulating powers on the other scarlet.

other stufffff~~~
This will be a strategy game
I don't know if the buildings should be made by the players or should be captured and rebuilt like RISK
2 flying Bases naxxramas and Dalaran
Multiple in game quests and events
Heroes and Vast items from Hostile mobs like arugal, Thule, Alterac ogres, and naga.
Mines/farms/lumbermills that can be taken over to give additional income

Mabye this is too much but i will start from the basics
Any thing i should take note of or some other ideas?

Wrong section, goes in Members Projects.(Trys moving but remebers he cant)
And welcome to TH!

Soooo what is this game like? All you said was it was a stragety game.

I have a few variables for what the game could be like
1. you take over territorys that give income, and you can train units from barracks that can be taken over.
2. you can take over buildings that spawn units
3. You make your own buildings economy and train your own units

Or a mixture of one of these, but in the end it would all be fun as long as it's balanced
