target unit as a tree?

I want to make some units and gather resources from them.

I using a Treant and I put as target as a tree, and it attacks me which I want but, I can't harvest lumber?

You have to give your treant the Harvest (Gold and Lumber) unit ability.

You have to change the art- modal of the basic human worker into the treant modal that u want... If you want the Treant to be a worker.....:)

Actually, he wants a unit that can be harvested like a tree.
Not a worker that looks like a Treant.

As a wild guess, that doesn't work...
You can have a tree that looks like a unit though.

Well I can use my other way still. I gave them 0 movespeed, and they can still attack, just can't be harvest. Thats ok, I just set the trees to 5000 lumber. Do you look at my other post ( charging building up )? Ok back to this one now, I also trying to change the doodad into a unit and it gives me a big green and black box, As I seen when I tryed playing (nothing there). No work there. I am going to use the 0 movement and change the color of the tree, ooh cool :rolleyes:. (just thought of that just now) to look like the same color as the unit/tree. I can do that right-->>:confused:? Going to try this right now. I am going to restart my Questions post back up and put all my question in that one Thread. Time to test. Thanks guys.

Can i make the unit (target as anything on that list) to hurt the unit???

That should do it... or maybe not yet :p

If you want your unit to be harvestable like a tree, its pretty simple to trigger.

When the treant is damaged, add the damaged amount to the attackers lumber.
Then when he runs out of health, he obviously dies ^^

To stop all units attacking him, give him the classification of a unit you dont use. (example: giant) Then make the worker able to attack and harvest giants :)
