Ugh sorry about this, i was really...caught up in school. Huge freakin projects been going on...had no time for warcraft =(

Okay So lets see here.

>yeah agreed water is annoying, isnt there any other way to make good water then to start the whole map with shallow water?

Im gunna have to throw an honest question out here at you. And thats that im not sure.

Ive ALWAYS started my map with the entire map shallow, its easy to raise than it is to lower...
Im going to update this tutorial maybe once or twice more when i can to get it to perfection...so ill try and find your answer to that. Otherwise im not sure you can.... You can however create water with blizz cliffs then make the entire think ramps, then raise and lower in that area.

Once again sorry about bailing on this topic. I will get it fixed up more.

Yes, transition is one important thing anyway, many people seem forgot it while creating their maps or their sense of terraining is actually bad..
