I've been playing around with the camera and using an WASD control system. I'm trying to have a space ship that you can fly with the WASD controls and a camera the follows the ships movement from behind. However I have come across these two issues:

1) When moving straight ahead, or rotating without moving forward, the camera movement is fairly smooth. However as soon as I try to do both at the same time, the camera movement becomes very choppy.

2) When turning, often the camera will lose the correct facing angle despite being set to the facing angle of the unit every 0 seconds of the game.

Currently I have set the camera to apply the new position over 0.1 seconds, and have a deceleration of 10%. The map is attached. +rep for anyone who can help.

Yep thanks that helped. I choose to use a different method for controlling the turning. As a result, it happened to also fix the second issue. +rep
