warcraft 2 cd key problem

Hi recently I found out about the blizzard online store, so I figured I would add all my blizzard game to my account and download them on my new computer, all of them worked except warcraft 2. when I enter the CD key it says it is already in use??. I have never given it out to anyone. please help.

This should be reported to blizzard support if you haven't done it already.

They will probably ask you one of the following:
Did you ever give the account information/serial key/cd to anyone else?
Have you bought the cd from anyone else?
Have you bought the key online?
Do you share this key with someone else?

So make sure to specify all of the above in the support request.

I don't know why it says the key is already in use but as far as I'm aware even the b.net version of warcraft 2 is not supported by the battle.net website, it's simply too old. I you look in classics there are warcraft 3, starcraft, and diablo 2. No warcraft 2 or diablo 1.

I dont even remember having a CD-Key for my old Warcraft 2. Where should that be located if so?
