I'm trying to play a three person lan game.. But when I start up the lan game nobody sees the game.. What do you think is wrong?
All three of us are hooked up to a router.
Is it that my router is hooked up to the internet as well?
Should i use a out of commission?

To get a LAN to work, you need a router, then everyone plugs into the router, and then you all need to configure your IP addresses to correspond (not sure if this is 100% necessary for gaming but it is for me) for example, first computer's IP is 10.0.0.0, then the second is 10.0.0.1 etc. Basically the first 3 numbers have to be the same for each computer, but the last one has to be unique to each computer.

If you can't see each other, also make sure that you all have the same version of TFT, otherwise you won't be able to play. If you still can't see anyone after that, then disable your firewalls (risky but it greatly improves network gaming).

If that STILL doesn't work, find a friend who's been to LANs before and ask him to help you out. It's always worth having a tech nerd at a LAN, just to fix any problems you'll have, even if you don't like him too much ;3
