Why can't I see water in the Editor?

Simple question, hopefully a simple answer.

Whenever I lay water, all I can see is the green square.

I thought it was because the water was either way above or way under the land, but I can see it if I test the map.

It's difficult to create landscapes when I can't see the water I'm working with.

Try pressing W or alternatively View -> Show Terrain -> Show Water

Hope it's this simple otherwise you're probably dealing with something much more annoying
