Hello everyone,
I have a computer running Windows XP Professional, and it's fairly new. I like to customize the sounds on my computer by going to the Sounds part of the control panel. Yesterday I made a new startup sound for my computer to play when I turn it on. I have done this succesfully in the past, but this time it didn't work. The sound played fine when I clicked the play button in the Sounds panel, but when I turned on my computer this morning the sound played only the first 2 seconds and then stopped. It's done this every time I've turned on my computer today.
The sound is about 50 seconds long, and I know the length isn't a problem because I've had a 3 minute long sound before.
Please give any ideas you have about why this isn't working. Your help is appreciated.
