Worker classification problem

Hi,

I wanted to make a dummy unit which can be selected by player. I decided to give him 'worker' classification so I can see his portrait in left-down corner. Now I have 2 problems:

1. I cannot select him (I can click, but it does nothing)
2. I don't see as the same portrait file as I set in Object Editor

Well, I know this is dummy unit and it shouldn't be selectable, but it can be done by triggers, so I thought it's possible in this way also.
I heard I can do that by making him a 'hero', so I can see his portrait in left-up corner and it's selectable then.

I think I can set something in Object Editor (remove one of dummy unit's attribute) etc. etc. and it will work. Well, I just need player to select that unit and then it's removed.

Any ideas?

2nd: I dun think you can change it unless you can something in the Game Interface for the races.. not rly sure about 1st as locust unit cannot be clicked...

I doubt locust units can be selected. Your best way, is to create a hero unit then you don't have to give it the worker classification, because it's one standard image for the race(e.g. Orc).

You can select them by triggers or clicking hero's portrait, so why not worker?

Nvm then, I will make him a hero.

One more question. How to remove hero portrait?

In Object editor, tick 'Stats - Hero - Hide Hero Interface Icon' as true.
Maybe your unit has no sight? That may prevent you from seeing it.
