Change Ip With router

im trying to change my ip with router but everytime i type "ipconfig/release"
a message appears "The Operation Has Failed As No Adapter Is In The State Possible For This Operation" and when i type "ipconfig/renew" the same message appears.
Plz help i need to know how to change ip in short amount of time

So... changing your ip via command like renew/release is not a guaranteed way to get a new ip address.

To get a new internal ip address, you would need to go into your router settings and set a static ip address.

to get a new external ip address, you can either unhook your modem and wait a few minutes, or call your ISP and ask them to issue you a new ip address.

is thier away to set your internal ip to a external ip and still get connection through the same router?

Set yourself as DMZ host, will put you between router and internet.
