I mean seriously now why would Tyrael become corrupted by the world stone or whatever....this is just so predictable....and yea blizzard cant come up with anything and turns The Good Guy from the previous games in to the BBB (big bad boss) i am kinda hoping that wont happen

Tyrael is a good guy becoz he helps the player, telling him things etc.

or maybe thats the problem he only 'tells' what to do and u do the job

while he does 2 cinematics and he thinks he's the next Diablo ^^....

anyway....thats my hypothesis

prolly not but still possible. from that, if that rly is diablo, then diablo looks even cooler than before, and i never even thought it was possible :O

Yep. You could still see the soulstone in his head even after he died. It was never technically "destroyed" by your player, though it is supposedly smashed. Whoever did the job may have lied (it was Tyrael, wasn't it? Everything comes down to Tyrael being evil), and, if so, Diablo can come back to life (as shown) and will again completely obliderate those who try to play the game first instead of getting rushed.

no im pretty sure tyreal didnt destroy the soulstone, im pretty sure the player did, because tyreal says he can not go any further than the pandemonium fortress, which is why he didnt fight diablo himself. he says he cant procede further so when you kill diablo, unless you carry his body/soulstone all the way back to town theres no wai he culd of got to it

My theory is that after the destruction of the world stone by tyrael
diablo doesnt need his soul stone to do his things (thingies/job/annihilating heaven etc.) because the soul stones and the world stone had some kinda of connection or something ( i think tyrael got them from the world stone not sure though) he can probably just walk on earth in his real form and....do what he is supposed to do ;D

anyway....i have never got my hand on the books so probably i am totally wrong about most of the things^.

Though, now that I think about it, I bet the destruction of the World stone somehow affects Diablo's soul stone meaning he can come back, somehow.
