When you use mangos to edit custom models, are you tired of seeing this message?
Unable to load "Textures\MyTexture.blp", file does not exist!

With my tip, you will most likely never see that message agian.

Step1. Goto the folder with you model.
Step2. Create a new folder in the models folder, Called "Textures"
Step3. Move the models skin into the folder
Step4. Open the model with mangos model editor.
Step5. Enjoy messing with the model

This has been a random insanity tip

That's very helpful, Insane, but shouldn't this be in the tutorial/resources section?

I mean when you first import a model or texture into the import manager and when you try to place the unit with the model, it says that it can't find the file.

well in the editor goto the texture editor, and find the texture needed, remove it and re-import it.
next goto the materials list and find the item with no texture attached and set it to the nessesarry skin, IF YOUVE DONE STEP 1!

Are you talking about the regular World Editor, the one that comes with the game? Because I've never seen anything like the texture editor on it before.

Just to hijack this, kinda, but its really halfways on topic (according to my understanding of post #6). To see a unit in WE (ie-preview it) just take the model and it's texture(s) and copy/paste it to WarCraftIII folder which by default is in the Program Files.

100th post !!!

Oh and also +Rep. :D
