I don't know why us more active members never did a big project in the past...

I really really want to each make a custom hero for a hero tavern map and put them all together Then we can make AI for the heroes we made later!

This is an awesome idea. Then we could play it with each other!

Judging would be too hard on that. Everybody would make a PvP hero with the most imbalanced skills. Why would you make the skills balanced if the hero had to use them to fight others?

My idea was that no judges are needed if we decide the competition by having them fight each other. This way we have more users for participants.

Don't need to really judge it. We can just all vote at the end and no one can vote for their own hero/AI. It can be a combination of cool hero design and AI functionality up to the players discretion.

Oh and we can make a template of damage:range ratio's for skill shots, single target spells, AOE spells etc it's pretty standard. Up to players to be considerate when making sure their champions are not OP.

I've done a template in the past based on blizzard skill damages (loosely). You also have templates for the strength:agility:intelligence:health:mana. It's pretty easy stuff.. Scaling can be applied per level also!

I created the template map, but as I said in the post, that map is just a suggestion. (And it got a stupid test AI)

But I think the map is too big. I think we need a smaller one.

And everybody who enters can pick the hero he/she likes most.

Naw should be completely random hero assigned! That way we get 1 AI for each hero. Yeah smaller size would be better IMO.

What if someone created a single custom hero, and we compete to make the best AI for that hero alone?

Would be less interesting in my opinion. The melee heroes have good variety.
