ORANGEVALE, Calif - A 15-year-old girl who allegedly worships Satan was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of lighting a fire at her Orangevale church.

The blaze occurred at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at the corner of Hazel and Cherry avenues.

Christian Pebbles of Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said the teen made it clear why she started the blaze, which damaged church pews.

"She hates the church and she worships the devil," Pebbles said. "That's the reason why."

Honestly, the problem I have with 'Devil-worshippers' is that they only do so because it is the polar opposite to Christianity. They don't really care too much about their 'religion', they only care about hating another religion. The fact that this girl attempted to burn down a church suggests that her father (if she in fact has one) is incompetent and holds far less will over her than he should.

Actually the Ironic thing here for me is that I know a guy who is a "Devil Worshiper" or "Satanist" but he is actually a really nice person he opens doors for women at places and takes off his top hat while he greets people and never cusses at me while talking or act violently (it could be because I'm Atheist?). Odd really.. but he does have a "Satan Star" tattoo on his right arm and I don't know what really happens in his house.

In fact a satanist is actually a really nice person, if anyone here has read the black bible(the one written by Anton Szandor LaVey for church of satan) they actually have things such as:
Don't go to someones home if you have intent to harm them.
Don't harm children.
And those are commandments! Fundamental rules!

And if you take that and look at what christians have done in the past:
The inquisition, the witchhunt, the crusades.
I can say that the satanists should theoretically be nicer, since they don't mean to provoke anger nor succumb to it, rather than to just control and accept it as a part of themselves.

Oh, and just for the fun of it and if someone did not already know:
Satanist does not worship satan nor the demons as beings of supernatural power. They are more about getting to know yourself and accepting the human flaws that the chuch condemns, such as gluttony, lust and anger.

While a devil-worshipper is looking at satan and all the other demons they might worship as gods/beings of supernatural ability.
They look at them pretty much as the christian church look at their god.

I wrote an essay about the difference about the two back in school, and it had me dig pretty darn deep to find the answers for most of those questions.
I must have read about 20-30books and gone thru a lot of web-pages, and a couple of phone-calls as well(the essay was about 20 pages long).
So this is not information I have thrown out from thin air.

One of my conclusions by the way was that the devil-worshippers pose a greater threat to the nation than the satanist, and that is probably beacuse of the ignorance of the people who believes in it.

Edit: oh, and sorry for a long post, I just had a lot to say about the subject.

It sounds from what you wrote that he is a satanist tho. Anyway, I hope for his own sake that he has read up on the subject and does not cause any harm to himself or anyone else for that matter beacuse of his religion.

On topic:
I for one think that these things are an important thing in the society, not to mention how important war and other things that people die from is as well.
If there where no wars and no killing, then we would overpopulate the earth faster than you can say the word "bunny"
