hm i personally think the drawing in the middle is a bit to small.

Plz say me which you like more this or the old one which is actually the little loading screen in game.

If its meant to be a night elf, I think the head works perfectly. A high elf though would probably hav a slightly less curved face
 
btw, theres a code bug. my friends edited the codes and he became lvl 44 -.- , please fix by next version.

Also, can u give me a estimate time of when next version would be released? It is pretty boring once u got stuck at lvl 18 now lol.

Wow. I just downloaded the largest file and I have to say that this is one of the best RPGs I have ever seen. Great terrain BTW. This RPG is just incredible. Even though just a small portion of it is completed, it is more than enough considering the impossibility to play this single player.
Even a team would take forever to finish this. I can't wait until it is finally finished.

Well you can find out which version is the newest easy the names are alwasy dates like12.10 etc so if you pick the latest date your right :D.

Well if more then one guy have such a problem of you,
it would help us more if you would describe this bugs more detailed.
And plz report them ! its important
(Like for exampel: i lvled in the version 12.10 a new squire at lvl 17 with this and ,this items, gold 1000 and all infos you got) and then i got a lvl 44 squire in the middle of the map.

Well first i cant say surely the date of the next release so i hope maybe next friday...if not we need 2 weeks we will see.

at this point i have to say we are welcome for evry help,
i could imagine to have some more guys in the creating Team, it just depends on your skills for exampel a really good terrainer would be nice,
we also could have a use for some one which is great in sound edits, well it just depends your skill lvl and time.

I will vouch for the loading of a 40 something in the middle of the map! My buddy made an error in his code, (Fairly sure it had to do with one of the hyphens) and got a 44 Cleric! I apologies for not taking a "Print-screen" of it and what he typed in, but I will for sure if it occurs again!

Also, Joccaren, what server do you play on? The only thing I play on Warcraft 3 (At the moment) is Gaias Retaliation, and I add people who I considered are "skilled" at the game so I always have people who know what the heck is going on with; currently I have about 10!
 
We found the problem that is leading to the weird load results.

However, the problem is not within our map, and merely something that the save/load system we use messes up. Therefore, we have to wait for an official fix before we can release a new version. :(

I hope it gets done fast.
 
I played 121009 version (got no idea if this is new or old) and i got some ideas for the map:
first, make max lvl imposible to reach, so it would always be possible to get even more powerful, so noone would even know what is the max lvl (except for you ofcourse). also it would be cool if there was no town-to-town teleports (except for scrolls) so you'd have to go everywhere on foot, but to make that less boring, you could add stuff like mounts in WoW. I also thought you could make secondary backpack (in beggining u get 1 6slot pack, and later u can buy more o those for money).
please keep in mind that i played old (probly) version and stuff i asked here might already be completed.

The max level is 50 and I am not going to change that. 50% of the content will be Level 50 content, so it makes no sense to make a soft-cap on the hero level.

This would increase save code length way too much. However, we might add additional non-savable bags in the future, though.

Well, I wouldn't call myself and expert but I am in Australia and when I get back onto B.net (Sometime within the next week, PM me and we'll arrange a certain day) I'll likely be on the nearest server to here.

I hope that is just an example, You've got great terrain and would be hard pressed to find someone that could do it better.

Well, about the mounts... you could make steam tanks, wagons as land vehciles, various ships as sea transport and gnomish flying machines as air vehciles (if you plan to add those).

also, i just thought about making tank skill that would be like avatar(Mountain king spell), which would turn hero into 'warrior of nature' or something (using uprooted elven buildings skins).

YOVIL hm... Steam tank wagons as land vehicel are looking kinda bad to me they dont fit in.

Ships as sea transport sounds better.

Well the best combination would be ship transport with some mounts =).
But as we work the most time allone on the projekt ... i dont see to get mounts xD.

But well we will see.

We will also present the user soon a better project presentation. You'll get some more information about the whole map and what we intend to realise.
 
Well, I'd be interested in terraining for the game, pretty nice game. I don't quite see why you need another terrainer, your terrain's pretty good (there are some flaws obviously), but yeah, wouldn't mind doing that. I've worked with b2m's doodads before, too. Terrain samples can be found at THW (same name) and I'll attack a map I've been working on from time to time, the triggers are pretty random tbh, mainly terrain was my focus. Cave roof is a bit retarded. I might keep working on it, might not.
So yeah, do please get back to me, I'd prefer on thw (I barely ever check in on here), just send a pm or a visitor message. :- )

We are also looking for a decently-skilled JASSer.
You do not need to be a total JASS-Crack ... it's enough if you are a fast learner and can use (and adapt) the systems that are already implemented to the map (like the quest system, AI System, etc.).

What you need to know to fit the requirements:
- Basics of Attaching via Hashtables
- how to use PUI Structs and PUI properties (Textmacros)
- what leaks are and how to prevent them
- Basic understanding of structs and methods
- the basics of writing efficient code

Which I don't know how to do necessarily, but I need some kind of a hobby and figuring out how older things worked is the only shit that really interests me. Well soldering and restoration is fun too, but no one is bringing me new stuff to fix and restore, so it's mostly old shit, and I LOVE OG Xbox so much. I want to make sure it can function as long as possible, until someone can effectively emulate it at least. I have like 15 I was going to fix over the winter and didn't get to.

    We have some elderly guests that regularly come hang out at the bar at the end of the night, and every once in a while we don't see someone for a few weeks and then someone shows up with their obituary.
