Well, I find that I have an abundance of ideas every day for a map, ranging from easy to make to extremely difficult and beyond my ability. Still, even if I start on the map I am discouraged soon enough and ended up only waisting a day or even a week. I think I have the capability to make a good map, but theres two main things that ruin it for me.
1) I can't host and I've looked at tons of tutorials and stuff that say how to reroute your port but it doesnt work for me. If I could get a detailed one that actually worked, then I'd be more likely to dedicate time.
2) I wouldn't call it procrastination necessarily because I do put in 110% yet the second I find myself in a mental block or at a triggering problem I usually quit there.
For the second problem I figured maybe some experienced map makers on this forum could give me some advice on how to stick with the idea and produce a fine game. Any advice will be appreciated, so thanks in advance.
