Animation + backswing pt.

for combat attacks you subtract the damage point from the backswing point to see how much time is wasted for the animation?

I think Damage Point and Backswing work like this :

starts to attack
<damage point time>
deals damage
<backswing>
stop, starts to attack
<damage point time>
deals damage
<backswing>
repeat

Note that the backswing can be 'cancelled' by ordering the unit another order (except Stop and Hold Position) so you can quickly start another attack.
