Are there any base(non-custom) abilities that adds a buff on a unit that lands an attack to the unit with the ability?

As in like frost armor where it gives a debuff to the unit attacking the one with the buff?

It would be more than simple to check if the attacked unit has the buff, and if so get a dummy to cast a negative spell on the attacker.

That's exactly what he said. Cast the buff on the attacking unit when a unit with your 'frost armour' buff is attacked.
