Battle.net Update v2.63

When I downloaded the next b.net update it gave me this error message:

This patch upgrades Brood War from version 1.11b to version 1.12.

ERROR: unable to open archive 'C:\Program Files\Starcraft\Broodat.mpq'

RESULT: Patch failed

So I went to the Blizzard Site and tried to download the patch from there and got this error message:

This program patches Starcraft Retail and Spawned versions

Anyone know what wrong?

Have you tried reinstalling? Copy characters data and custom maps first to somewhere safe if you need to, uninstall the game, make sure the Starcraft directory is completely gone and then reinstall Starcraft + Brood War. A lot of people are having problems with this patch, having a clean Starcraft installation should fix it tough.

The new patch SUCKS!

The fuck man! The new patch screwed me over. I can't play Bnet
because the new patch can't find 1!!!! ladder game in the DL patch!!!
