"Building" non structure units

How would I do this? I have tried making them mechanical and setting their build time to a longer duration but my worker still just places them and stops. How can I get them to actually create the unit?

What unit was that?

A tried this with a Bandit to which I assigned "Furbolg" as "strcutures built".
That was the only change to him and I didn't touch the Furbolg.
Well, he does build Furbolgs...
He even "disappears" inside while under construction.

I found the problem. This is a Human worker who is building it, and since Humans repair buildings when they build him, I emoved the repair ability. That's why he didn't build them, works fine now.

Anything with "unit classification: mechanical" should also be repairable.

Hm...
Strange that you tried that and it wouldn't work.

Well what I meant is that I removed the repair ability at the beginning of the game, and that's why he wouldn't build them. Once I was added it back in, it worked fine.
