Would there be some use in having a demo TD around?

Just the basics, creating the waves, counting lives...

Obviously unprotected. And in GUI.
As an added bonus, it uses the Object Editor to keep the list of Creeps instead of some huge unmaintainable array...

Actually, the entire "wave" thing is three triggers only.
One to create and send them.
A one-liner for the routing in the center.
And a trigger to count leaks.


The triggers are commented.
But, of course, if there's some interest, I could describe all of it...

There could be a small forum called map templates.. or something, where dota template and such a things could be placed :).. or a sticky in here..

You have time to do this kind of things :p

Maybe make an icy and grassy version? Just change tileset, and then change doodads by manually.

I don't know if this was a feature but, if you build a tower on top of another tower or a place where the tower can't be built, the other towers will move out of their place and the new tower will be built. :p

A few things:
1) First few waves are too hard.
2) Air waves = insta-your-dead.
3) The little spiders that spawned killed all my towers.
4) Make it so that creeps only spawn for the players that are in the game?
5) Maybe a leak message?
6) A "Next wave in..." timer window too?

That's all I can think of for now,
Just some suggestions since I didn't see any from the replies ;) !

EDIT: Sorry if I wasn't supposed to "bump" such an old thread, didn't see the last replies date until after I posted.

a bit of help

i know this is an old thread but a bit of help would be great, i am using your triggers, and i have set up somewhat like Elemental TD 6 boxes rather then how you had creeps run to the center and go their own path, took me a while but i got the creeps to run from start to finish, here is the funny thing how pick what creeps are sent, i just set it up and ran the map and it got the creeps all on its own.

in a nut shell:
using your script how would i pick or "know" the creeps its sending
